Troy Smith will see his No. 10 enshrined at Ohio Stadium next Saturday, but he'll take part in the ceremony with one fewer school record.

With a six-yard pass to Jalin Marshall in the 4th quarter against Indiana today, J.T. Barrett now has 31 touchdown passes on the year, one better than Smith's old mark of 30, set in 2006.

Barrett, just a redshirt freshman who entered the season as an afterthought as Braxton Miller's backup, was thrust into the starting position when Miller was lost for the season with a shoulder injury during fall camp.

He already held school records for touchdowns responsible for in a season (set last week with his 36th against Minnesota) and the longest touchdown run by a quarterback (86 yards, again vs. Minnesota) and just today also broke Braxton Miller's school record for total yards in a season.
